We have released Scroll Office 2.1.

What's Scroll Office?
Scroll Office is a Confluence plugin that provides first-class Word export. This means that than the default Export to Word functionality in Confluence, Scroll exports multiple pages at the same time, builds native Word 2007/2010 files and uses Word templates for styling the output.

K15t Support Team June 13, 2010 4 Scroll Office Word Exporter

Hello,

we are proud to announce the public beta of the Scroll Office edition. This is a major milestone for us, as it not only brings the much wanted Word 2007 export with template support, but it is also built on the new Scroll core which is by orders of magnitude faster.

Please give it a try on our demo system at http://k15t.com/demo/display/OFFICEDEMO/Home.

Note these features:

  1. Click on the "Export to Word" button and you will get the normal settings dialog, where you can choose the templates and which pages to export, etc. The button next to "Export to Word" is the one-click exporter and uses the default export settings.
  2. Create your own pages and try to export those.
  3. Upload your own Word 2007 file (*.docx) and attach it to the page you want to export. Important: In order to let Scroll Office detect the Word 2007 file as a template, please make sure it ends with <template_name>__template.docx, for example MyOwnWordTemplate__template.docx.
(On dedicated Confluence instances, you will be able to upload templates on space level and on global level.)

If you have any questions, comments or feature requests please let us know in the Scroll Office forum.

Happy scrolling!
